January 20th Algonquin Series
I posted this photo for Kurt who complained :-) that I gave teasers of the falls and never showed them. Here is a portion of the main falls. It continues down much farther but this was the best area to show the the rushing water and the rocks you saw yesterday. Soon I will have the series posted so those who are interested can browse. Oh I forgot to add that this falls was used in the early days as a way to bring the timber down from the woods. It flows into the Oxtongue River and then into the Oxtongue Lake. Holes in the rocks at the top can still be seen from the chutes that were anchored there.
