I'm back! Returned on Monday...totally exhausted. My talk went well at the National Wildlife Rehabilitator's Assn. conference, my brief visit with my son afterwards...WONDERFUL, but the camera was the most frustrating piece of equipment you could imagine! I borrowed a Nikon 8800 for the compact/no need to carry lenses aspect. When I tell you I really don't have one quality shot in the bunch, I am not kidding! The shutter is so slow and lags so badly that no matter what setting I put it on, I couldn't get a picture of a penquin at the aquarium if it was pasted on the wall in front of me! I know I am a 30D spoiled brat...what can I say? You guys have caused me to raise the bar! LOL. I think I will hug my camera next time it comes out of the bag!
So, here is a parting shot before they closed the door on this little commuter plane out of O'Hare, and the pilots flew us back to dreary, cold, Cleveland!
