ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
We're back!! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!! The scenery spectacular! I have about 3 gigabites of memory cards to sort through, so the daunting task is ahead! But here is the first of several I hope to post.
The wedding was outside...beautiful morning changing to rain clouds, cold and wind by 4:30 for the ceremony! We froze, but cherished every moment! Actually,Denver broke a cold record that night...32 degrees in June!! The reception was in a tent with heat pumped in from the sides. The day after the wedding we went to Rocky Mtn National Park..drove up over 11,790 feet and over to the other side to visit a friend of Bob's for dinner. The views were breath taking!!! Including the ones where there were no guard rails...lol!
I did not take the camera to the wedding itself. My husband had the point and shoot, and so did my Dad, so I let them do all the photographing. Below is a link to one of the wedding pictures they took. HOWEVER, hoots of hoots, the photographer and I developed a "friendship " of sorts. When he came to take the pictures, I immediately checked out the cameras...what did he use? A 30D...with the 17-40L wide angle...which I had upstairs in the room and he had a Canon 5D. Once we started talking, he would come over and show me pictures from time to time :-)
Then he showed me a LENSBABY...cool little attachment. So I had a lot of fun from many aspects. I still don't believe that my son is married...amazing!! Seems like yesterday he was a little baby....
