RED SHOULDERED HAWK October 1, 2006
I heard a soft squawking in the trees in the backyard today and I was sure it was the blue jays mimicking the hawks again. Just in case I went in to get my camera and went looking in the trees...there he was! Oh, and I hand held the 400! Did better with 800 ISO,so it is pretty steady (for me). Can't wait for my 30D to come on Tuesday! (Thusie convinced me that I needed one for stability, speed and better focusing!)
